A variety of services specifically aimed at women are located throughout Antigonish and Pictou Counties. Please visit the websites' of the following organizations to see what programs and information each offers.

Organizations:

• Antigonish Women's Resource Centre & Sexual Assault Services Association operates throughout Antigonish and Guysborough counties to provide services for survivors of sexual assault and participant in community action on social issues that affect women.
• Naomi Society located in Antigonish; the Naomi Society promotes human rights through programs for individuals affected by family violence. They provide direct services to women and their children.
• Pictou County Women's Resource & Sexual Assault Centre "is located at 503 South Frederick Street, New Glasgow, NS B2H 3P3. Our doors are open 9 - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Our centre offers women and adolescent girls support, advocacy, referrals, information and programs on a wide range of issues. For more information please contact us at 902-755-4647 or drop in."
• Tearmann House located in New Glasgow. The Tearmann Society supports victims of family violence by providing a place for abused women and their children.
• Well Women's Clinic: Women receive a well women's check up from a multi-disciplinary team in Antigonish and Pictou.
• Sexual Health Nova Scotia provides information both in person and online. Visit their website or office, located in Stellarton.
