Once per month the library hosts a Community Cafe at several branches with activities and seminar topics of interest - with light refreshments served as well. These are 'drop-in as you wish' sessions. The Community Cafes occur from September - June at most participating branches. Sometimes the scheduled date may change by a week, depending upon the various holidays.
Knitting Circles and Crafting Groups
Several of our branches have knitting and crafting groups that meet for fun, instruction and conversation. Everyone is welcome, from absolute beginners to master knitters.
Details are available online in the PARLevents calendar.
Library meeting rooms are available for non-profit community groups and organizations. More information.
