Borrow By Mail (formerly Books By Mail) is a free mail-order library for rural residents of Pictou & Antigonish Counties. You can select material such as books, magazines, audio books, DVD's from our Online Library Catalogue.
Register for Borrow By Mail and receive a free library membership card. Fill out a request or check our online catalogue. Make your selection by mail, phone, e-mail or by completing a form online. We will mail the books to you. Return these books with the included postage paid label and we will mail you more. All postage is paid by the Library, there is absolutely no cost to you! Simple as that!
A wide variety in many categories for all ages including books, magazines, audio books (DVD and Playaways), videos, DVD's. Ask for specific books by author, title, or by subject.
Remember selection is not limited to titles listed in our catalogues. Ask our Borrow By Mail staff to help you locate a book that is right for you and answer your reference questions too.

If you have a small site box or a small mail box, LET US KNOW, and we will send books one or two at a time.

We have several Rural Access Sites that provide everything from free access to our online library services, training, and in some locations, friendly staff to assist you!
These sites offer a public library computer for searching the public library catalogue, registering for a free membership card, requesting books and information and more.
